Elms Retirement Village
The assisted living program at Elms Retirement Village was begun in July, 1999. It was welcomed by the community as a unique and cost-effective living alternative. Assisted Living at Elms Retirement Village provides support services on an occasional or daily basis while promoting the highest level of wellness, self-confidence and independence.
Elms Retirement Village offers spacious one-bedroom suites with the following features:
- Efficiency kitchen with built-in microwave and refrigerator
- Walk-in closet and additional storage space
- Large private bathroom with safety considerations
- Individualized heating/cooling
- Window blinds
- Neutral décor (carpet, paint, tile and cabinetry)
- Full-length mirror
- Smoke detectors
- Emergency call system
Services include three carefully-prepared meals a day, a wide array of social activities, transportation to medical appointments and local businesses, plus weekly housekeeping/laundry services. Residents also enjoy on-site amenities such as beauty salon/barber shop, exercise room, and a recreational room with pool table.
