Grande Village Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center Now Open in Twinsburg
Grande Village, owned and operated by Sprenger Health Care Systems, recently opened the Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center. The highly anticipated, $2.7 million dollar expansion project, was designed to enhance the already existing Rehabilitation Center. Grande Village offers a full continuum of healthcare services on one campus including Independent Living, Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. The 16,000 square foot taddition compliments the continuum of care concept at Grande Village by joining the Rehabilitation Center with the already existing Assisted Living building. The Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center features 16 spacious short term Orthopedic Suites complete with flat screen TVs and private bathrooms with showers. 3 private dining rooms, several private parlors, an activity room and an enclosed courtyard were also added as part of the addition. A memory support unit was created for those residents with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. The Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center features the Biodex Balance & Mobility System which is the highest technology in patient rehabilitation and falls risk management. Sprenger Health Care Systems expanding into Stark County
Sprenger Health Care Systems is pleased to announce the acquisition of Rose Lane Health Center located in Massillon, Ohio. Rose Lane is a 171 bed skilled nursing facility that was previously owned by Akron General. The change in ownership will take place on March 1, 2011. Sprenger Health Care Systems’ immediate plans for Rose Lane include creating an orthopedic rehabilitation unit with an expansive therapy gym complete with state of the art equipment and short term rehabilitation suites. Sprenger also plans to revamp the existing Alzheimer’s program to include specialized programs that focus on memory support. “Our goal is to focus on the needs of the community and make Rose Lane the premier nursing and rehabilitation center in Stark County”, says Scott Sprenger. “We are grateful for this opportunity and we look forward to serving and supporting Massillon and surrounding communities”. |
