The assisted
living program at Amherst Manor Retirement Community
was part of a major expansion and renovation of the
long-standing senior health care facility. Amherst Manor
Assisted Living provides support services to seniors
while promoting the highest level of wellness, self-confidence
and independence.
Amherst Manor Retirement Community offers
spacious one-room studio suites with the following features:
- Large double closets with full-length
mirror
- Large private bathroom with safety
considerations
- Individualized heating/cooling
- Bay window or private patio
- Window blinds
- Neutral décor (carpet, paint,
tile and cabinetry)
- Smoke detectors
- Emergency call system
Numerous amenities include three daily
meals served in our beautiful dining room, an active
social and recreational schedule, weekly housekeeping
and laundry services and personalized transportation
within the community. Residents also enjoy the on-site
community areas such as: private lounges, beauty salon/barber
shop and large-screen television with VCR. Residents
are encouraged to remain active in social organizations,
hobbies and community endeavors.
