Originally
constructed as a gracious hotel serving the Lorain community,
Anchor Lodge was converted to a health care center in
the 1960’s. Anchor Lodge Retirement Village became
a part of the Sprenger family in 1981. Residents, visitors
and staff enjoy our picturesque lakeside setting and
resort-like grounds. We have dedicated our efforts to
enhancing the quality of life of the residents we serve
by constantly monitoring and improving our standards
and services. Our state of the art assisted living facility
allows Anchor Lodge to offer a full continuum of housing
and health care services on one campus. Future plans
are underway to expand specialized rehabilitation services
areas and the creation of an Alzheimer’s assisted
living program.
